Best Road Races VideosThe Moody Two Race Number 50The Moody Two Race Number 50 Bob Anderson, the founder of Runner's World at age 17 started running and racing in 1962. In December of 2011 he decided he wanted to do something special to celebrate 50 years of running. He decided to run 50 years. His goal was to run at least 350 miles and he wanted to average under 7 minutes/mile. This pace is equal to a 25-year-old averaging 5:30/mile. Bob was 64-year-old. What even made things more challenging is that Bob also works full time as CEO of his swimwear company Ujena. He had some very tough moments and found himself 22 seconds in total off pace. He had one race to go. It was The Moody Two in Los Altos Hills, California just a couple of miles from his house. The race was set for December 29, the day after he turned 65-years-old.
